Breathing for Addiction Recovery
Breath & Nervous System Regulation
Accessible breathing sessions to support wellbeing, self-awareness and regulation.
Breathing is something we all have access to, yet the way we breathe can change significantly in response to stress, anxiety, emotion and physical discomfort. Research into regulated breathing is growing. A 2026 systematic review concluded that in people who use substances, breathing-based interventions appear to lead to statistically significant reductions in craving compared with controls, supporting their potential as a low-cost and scalable strategy for managing craving in substance use disorders (Roxbury et al., 2026)
Breath & Nervous System Regulation sessions provide a simple, accessible way for people to learn about their breathing and explore practical techniques that may support greater awareness, relaxation and self-regulation.
