Julie Kidd is a Minded Yoga Therapist C-IAYT

and Trainee Integrative Yoga Psychotherapist NCIP.

Yoga and meditation first entered my life in my twenties during a time when I was looking for greater steadiness and clarity. After the loss of my mother, these practices became a deeper source of support and healing, and eventually led me to train as a yoga teacher and later into therapeutic work.

Since 2019, I have worked with individuals and groups through yoga therapy, community classes, addiction recovery services, and dementia care homes. I also mentor yoga teachers one-to-one through Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga Teacher Training (L.V.C.Y.) assisting Liz Oppedijk with teaching online and at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in the US.

My work is grounded in the belief that yoga should be accessible, practical, and supportive for real life. I specialise in offering adaptable practices that help people reconnect with their bodies, regulate the nervous system, and build greater emotional resilience over time.

My approach is compassionate, trauma-aware, and evidence-informed, integrating movement, breathwork, relaxation, mindfulness, and reflective dialogue. I work with people in a way that supports safety, choice, and self-awareness.

It’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they explore healing, growth, and a deeper connection with themselves. I continue to learn and grow through this work every day, and I bring that ongoing practice of curiosity, humility, and presence into every session.
